When the Outlook error 0x8004011d occurs, you will be unable to send or receive emails until you can resolve it. If you see it in Outlook, you should try these 4 solutions:
#1. Execute an SFC Scan
Step 1: Press Windows + S to open the search box and type cmd.
Step 2: Right-click on Command Prompt. Select Run as administrator.
Step 3: Input sfc /scannow and press Enter. Wait a while after that.
#2. Enable Cache Mode
Ensure you are running the newest version of Outlook.
Step 1: Launch Outlook and the related instances.
Step 2: Right-click the Start button. Select Run.
Step 3: Type exe and press the Enter key.
Step 4: Enter Mail in the Control Panel’s search box and choose it from the results.
Step 5: Click E-mail Accounts… from the Mail Setup window.

#3. Check the Information Stores and the Database
To check if the information stores are mounted, do the following:
- Navigate to Exchange Manager > Server > Server name > First storage group.
- Check the state of the Mailbox store by right-clicking it. Select Mount store if it is dismounted.
Proceed as follows to check the database:
You can use C:\Program files\Exchsrvr>bin\eseutil/mh mdbdata\priv1.edb to check; the status of your database will be reported.
- If the status is displayed as Dirty, you need to ensure all of the transaction logs from the checkpoint are present. Next, mount the store as stated above.
- If you cannot see any logs, fix the database by using Eseutil /p (you need to back up data in advance because this action may result in data loss). And, you need to use Eseutil /d to defrag the database. Lastly, you should run the Information Store Integrity Checker Isinteg.exe –fix.

#4. Create a New Profile
To create a new Outlook profile, first repeat steps 1 through 4 in Method 2. After that, perform the following operations:
- Click Show Profiles….
- Choose the Outlook profile that is now used and hit Remove. (It is better to back up the .PST/.OST file in advance.)
- Click Yes to finish the operation.
- Relaunch your Outlook. Reconfigure your email from scratch. The email client will automatically create a new .OST or .PST file.
